General Kitchen Assistant - Full Time

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated General Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at Colchester United, demonstration a genuine passion for food and delivery exceptional service. While the primary location for this role is at the club's training ground in Tiptree, flexibility is required to cover occasional shifts at the JobServe Community Stadium.

The position involves active participation in all catering aspects at Colchester United, collaboration with our existing team to support meal service and fulfil responsibilities as a kitchen porter.

Job Description:

• Serve behind the counter and assist the chef with food preparation and cooking as needed.
• Execute the company's cleaning schedule with precision.
• Operate kitchen machinery, including a commercial dishwasher.
• Adhere to hygiene standards outlined by the chef.
• Set up and ensure the dining room is ready for service according to company standards.
• Break down the dining room at the end of service to meet company expectations.

Hours of Work:

Full Time - 40 hours per week

Salary:

16,640- 24,835 per annum, dependant on age & experience.
